Opportunely situated just outside New Hampshire’s largest city, and 50 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts, on 116 pristine acres, the private golf course at Manchester Country Club offers an expedient way for members to enjoy a golf oasis without going far from home or work. The view is so breathtaking and calmness so consuming, it feels miles away from the usual activity of everyday life.
Manchester Country Club's Donald Ross course was designed to be of true championship caliber, evident in the 48 National, Regional and State Championships that chose Manchester CC as host. The golf course presents a true test of a player’s short game and rewards accurate approach shots. Unlike many of the courses built at the turn of the century, Manchester has ample playing ground so each hole feels intimate, while at the same time, the short distance between green and tee makes Manchester an enjoyable walk.
A rare, historic par 71 golf course, Manchester Country Club’s 18-hole track was designed by Donald Ross. With construction completed in August of 1923, the course embraces almost 100 years of history. In present day, the course maintains much of the original integrity of Ross’s design—namely his classic undulating greens and strategic routing, with very little walking required from one green to the next tee. And any of the Ross features that have slipped away over time like cross bunkers and fescue mounds, have recently become part of the experience once again with the latest renovation work to the course. All part of the The Forse Plan, a long range restoration plan embraced by the Club in 2006 and set for completion in 2023, the course has quickly reclaimed its architectural heritage and Ross purity.
The Golf House is a welcoming place, where members and guests are greeted by the Golf Professional staff, who assist with many aspects of the golf experience, including instruction, custom club fittings, merchandise selection and special orders, tournament registration, and of course, friendly banter. The Golf House is also the home of a year-round player development facility and golf simulator, affectionately called The Attic, where the PGA Tour Simulator offers members more than 50 different courses to play, and tools like JC High Speed Video and TrackMan Launch Monitor help improve your game.
Some of our favorite events are golf outings, because we use golf as the agent to support the people, businesses and causes of our local community. We're totally invested in your event, making tournament prep, fundraising goals, and day-of event operations our top priorities. This way, you spend more time with your guests and less time worrying about all the details.
